Useful Websites lion

There are several very good sites including the purplemaths starting with http://www.purplemaths.com/modules/exponent.htm and continuing with http://www.purplemaths.com/modules/simpexpo.htm. Follow the links to cover the entire topic. Another good site for basic information on indices starts with http://tutorial.math.lamar.edu/AllBrowsers/1314/IntegerExponents.asp which deals with integer indices. It moves very quickly but is very thorough. It goes on to http://tutorial.math.lamar.edu/AllBrowsers/1314/RationalExponents.asp for rational indices.
